Spheron (previously ArgoApp) has been working hard throughout the last week to ensure its decentralized ecosystem grows & solves more use cases around hosting & storage. We have been fortunate enough to get associated with top notch teams in the domain working towards creating world-class products to solve issues pertaining to digital assets storage to decentralized finance & from creating NFT marketplaces to managing crowdfunding through blockchain. Not only projects, but we are also on the verge of announcing some interesting integrations with renowned protocols as well, solving problems of decentralized domain names & empowering global citizens with decentralized internet. These protocol associations are in the integration phases and once linked to our toolset, developers will be able to get the following benefits:

Engagement is key

Spheron (previously ArgoApp) has been focused on building an engaging community & our content has always kept our engagement rates high. In June so far, we have managed to keep our engagement rates at 1.6% in spite of the recent crash which shows our community appreciates the quality of our content & continues to support us. With over 140 tweets this month, our profile has been visited more than 40k times which has resulted in generating 520k+ impressions on Twitter. Our Telegram community is active & engaged through regular discussions, polls, AMAs & competitions. We recently onboarded new community ambassadors who were chosen from the community itself. We strongly encourage participation in our group & always reward active members. We believe rewarding should not be limited to giveaways hence this time around, as a reward to our highly engaged members, we gave them the opportunity to work with us as ambassadors & spread their positivity across the community.

Fastly outage a wake-up call

The Fastly outage is not the first time centralized cloud computing is failing internet users. Numerous events have caused outages that resulted in massive loss of storage data, among other vital losses.

Thus, this latest network outage experience is a wake-up call that the time for centralized cloud storage services is up. Fastly was not the first and won’t be the last cloud storage service provider to go offline. With the technology present in platforms such as Spheron (previously ArgoApp), it may be time for service providers to consider decentralization as a foolproof way of having a guaranteed 100% uptime.

V2 is ready

The good news is that our V2 is tested & we are ready to launch our upgraded version that brings more stability & efficiency to a developer’s deployment experience. The implementation adds to the already impressive services provided in our platform. Adding the Default Spheron (previously ArgoApp) Subdomain and the User-level to organization-level Wallet migration highlights our commitment to delivering blockchain onboarding solutions.

Hence, to involve the community in development activities & make this version as bug-free as possible, we have launched a Bug Bounty Program. This will help us reach out to potential early adopters & reward them for their much-needed support. The program ends on 10th July & we expect to receive hundreds of entries for the event. We have allotted $3000 as rewards for this program wherein an individual can win up to $500 for highlighting critical issues that can hamper the overall success of this version.

Partnerships

Spheron (previously ArgoApp) perfectly fits with the idea of hosting & storing large amounts of data for users as it can handle large hybrid databases. We are working towards building an ecosystem of decentralized web applications which are more transparent, secure & permanent.

With our recent partnership with Ladarken, Spheron (previously ArgoApp) will be able to help them promote their mini DEX & the upcoming marketplace without compromising on security, scalability & decentralization. We strongly believe in bringing power back to the people & this relationship will help us achieve that through its focus on staking & leveraging.

And as per our new association with Teslafan, Teslafan will offer services of Spheron (previously ArgoApp) to the newly listed projects on their crowdfunding platform. Decentralized storage will allow projects to permanently record & retrieve, hence creating a trustless system where data will be stored safely & permanently, keeping the cost low.
