Our philosophy at Spheron (previously ArGoApp) has always been about making a difference in the blockchain ecosystem by making it easily accessible to the masses. A noble thought to free people from years of censorship & unnecessary governance on things that do not require guidance or instructions — fulfilling the long-awaited dream for ordinary people to own their lives & own their data that ultimately belongs to them — decentralizing the internet for the common good & paving the way for developers to easily create decentralized applications that solve real-world problems for the betterment of society.

Spheron (previously ArGoApp) has been instrumental in pushing the decentralized agenda through its unique idea of deploying blockchain decentralized websites within minutes. We are currently focused on making static websites & web applications censorship-free for users with 100% uptime. Thus, creating an all-in-one platform for the web world, wherein the decentralized cloud can give access to infinite storage & unlimited bandwidth.

September Summary

The ninth month of the year indeed brought in a lot of surprises for everyone associated with Spheron (previously ArGoApp), both good & bad. It was tough dealing with our domain suspension from GoDaddy initially, but when we found our community standing right beside us, we took no time to migrate our domain & start afresh. Not only did we solve the problem of centralized hosting by deploying on HNS, but we also pulled the plug entirely from GoDaddy & moved to a better reliable provider. This incredible experience made us even more focused & determined to achieve our dream of decentralized internet for everyone.

Once we were over with the migration, & as the dust settled, we were back on track in no time. We saw a splendid 300% growth in the number of deployments this month. And with a 40% increase in the number of projects deployed on our platform, we were able to reach 1900+ users & surpass the number of users compared to the number of deployments, showing signs of organizational adoption on our protocol.

Argonaut of the week

This campaign proved to be a successful campaign as it reignited the spark in the community post-IDO phase, and we managed to create at least ten super active members in the community. It was well received and generated a lot of mentions & impressions around the social media platforms wherever it was advertised during the three months of its operation. We are incredibly thankful to everyone who participated in this event and helped us garner enough eyeballs during these three months, ensuring the challenging market correction could not derail us from our progress. We plan to develop a new rewarding campaign soon for our beloved community and hope to receive the same amount of love from our Argonauts.

Staking update

$ARGO Staking has been rewarding the Argonauts since launch and the APRs have been all-time high during September. With more than a million dollars in TVL, Staking APRs have skyrocketed recently with upwards of 400% as well on the Polygon LP Pool. Not only Polygon, but even the ETH LP Pool has also been consistently above 300% for weeks now. We encourage everyone to stake their tokens & get rewarded.

What does the future hold?

The interactive NFT marketplace is shaping up nicely and has been given a name as well. Scarze is going to be a game-changer for the developers as it will be the first marketplace that will give them an opportunity to showcase their work as a form of art. It is an art indeed, making customer-centric applications that make life easy is definitely something that should be respected & rewarded more often. And that’s what Spheron (previously ArGoApp) aims to do through this innovation. Not only making blockchain deployment easy but appreciating developers is also one of the important missions for us & we will do everything in our power to help developers get their long-overdue recognition.

The product team is focused on providing decentralized compute resources at significantly lower costs and providing more flexible access to cloud computing. Hence, they will be busy integrating with Akash to increase scalability & security for the Spheron (previously ArGoApp) users.
